What supports are in place for students with special needs or those who need remedial academic support?

I'm in awe of the resources available to visitors and users of this site. I spent two wonderful years as a YES Prep Teacher. (Southeast!) yeah! The experience made me a better teacher for my students, and it was there that I learned the difference between a good teacher and a GREAT teacher. The individuals who are a part of the YES Prep System are the most talented in the field of education, and the KIDDOS are AMAZING! Keep up the great work.

Who designed the assignments and lesson plans? Were they worked on together by all staff in various content areas? What time/support were teachers given to write/design the various activities?
Is your school a year round program? Can teachers visit your site to observe?
This is a great website with awesome resources. Keep up the great work.

As a former TFA corps member, current KIPP teacher, and soon to be School Leader, I give 110% support to YES! Prep and the ways in which they design their school around student needs. Awesome resources; keep up the phenomenal work!
