Think of a time you supported a student in a way that went beyond teaching the curriculum. What did you do, and how did it make a difference in their life?

As teachers, we do far more than teach. Last year, my husband and I purchased groceries for students in dire need. Then, in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, I collaborated with corporate entities and alumni associations to assist some of our worst-affected students with food, toiletries, stationery, and boarding fees. As a result, many of these students were able to continue their studies this academic year.
Think of a time you supported a student in a way that went beyond teaching the curriculum. What did you do, and how did it make a difference in their life?
