In what ways can we reimagine education so it works better for all?

I want out of the box suggesstions! I'm thinking 9:00- 6:00 days, sign up for elem classses and options , or project classses , how to get students who want to learn be more excited and those who don't want to learn --> IN.. More tech? No grades- skill levels/ like all grade one readers in the same class?? I want to hear all ideas...Please
