One of my favorite classroom practices is a daily check-in about how everyone is doing on a human level. Whether it's a sharing circle, or a quick show of hands, or a goofy "would you rather," check-ins really set the tone for the day and give you an important temperature check on your classroom.

(If you're looking to learn more, I wrote about check-ins here and emphasized the importance of check-ins for creating relationship safety here.)

What daily check-ins do you use? Are there any you're curious about or want to try? Share your favorites and tips for other teachers looking to try check-ins this school year!
