Outdoor learning provides students with opportunities to experience challenges, make decisions, and develop confidence through real-world situations.

However, creating effective outdoor experiences requires educators to find the right balance between allowing students to explore, take appropriate risks, and learn from mistakes while ensuring their physical and emotional safety.

I am interested in learning how experienced teachers approach this balance. What strategies, planning methods, or teaching principles help you create outdoor activities where students can develop independence, resilience, and problem-solving skills while maintaining responsible safety practices?
