Here in New Jersey, we are in the thick of state testing. Next week, our children and teachers will let out a collective exhale. And yet, we still have a month of schooling before summer break begins.

School Leaders: Do you notice any changes in teaching after state testing? Student motivation is a hot topic, for sure. However, do you find that teacher motivation shifts after the state testing has ended? If so, how do you approach this?

Teachers: Have you noticed a change in your own motivation after testing? Do you notice any differences in student dispositions? How do you ‘keep your foot on the gas’ after testing season as you approach the year’s end?
