Tip #29: Cook a Cultural Dish

Ever wonder about your teacher's culture or where they come from? Take a second to show your interest and ask them about it. Next, go home and research recipes that are common in their culture, and surprise your teacher with a yummy dish. This will not only show your teacher you personally took the time to look into where they come from, but it will also be a nice comforting meal that reminds them of home.

Not sure where you can research recipes online? Epicurious has a robust international recipe section and Allrecipes has many regional and ethnic recipes.

"Every Day in May"

Every day in May we'll be offering up a new way to appreciate teachers.
