Supersized: Schools Need to Slim Down

Change the food in schools.

February 8, 2005

What kind of gastrointestinal atomic bomb would you set off if you ate nothing but McDonald's food for an entire month? Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock took this brilliant idea and came up with Super Size Me, a stomach-churning, eye-opening indictment of the ('urp) fast food industry just out on DVD.

Particularly appalling: the amount of crappy fast food that gets served to kids in school cafeterias, many of which have sweetheart deals with junk food companies.
