New Mexico School for the Arts — a Title I, dual arts and academic charter school in Santa Fe — is both an arts school for scholars and a prep school for artists. Through daily support seminars, NMSA bridges the achievement gap by teaching academic, social-emotional, and college-readiness skills. Through the school’s arts curriculum, students master self-assessment by learning to embrace failure, welcome critical feedback, and give peer critique.

Earned 2016 National Blue Ribbon Schools Award as an Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing School.
Rated grade “A” by New Mexico Public Education Department every year since 2012.
Outperformed the state in reading, math, and science on New Mexico Standards Based Assessment (SBA) every year since 2013.
