Todd Kutyla

Adventure Coordinator

Todd Kutyla is the adventure coordinator at a public charter school in Washington, DC, where he works with students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. He works closely with teachers to integrate outdoor learning and into the school’s project-based learning model, as well as opportunities for outdoor adventure, leadership, and life skills learning.

With a decade of experiential learning experience, including eight years in his current position, Todd’s goal is to work with urban youth to develop strong relationships with nature and an ethic of care and stewardship for the environment. He is also dedicated to educating the whole person through the development of life skills and competencies as well as social and emotional development.
