Taylor Hamblin

Teacher and Ph.D. Candidate

Taylor Hamblin attends the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a PhD student at the College of Education and Human Sciences and mentors future social studies teachers. He holds a master’s in history from the University of South Dakota and focuses his research on historical thinking and inquiry in social studies. Between 2012 and 2019, he taught in South Dakota, including four years teaching eighth grade U.S. History and Spanish. Taylor’s expertise has led him to create a curriculum map for National History Day.
