Tara Olagaray

Working in K–6 public education for 24 years in the diverse city of Stockton, California, I have experience teaching in four different public schools. My roles have included K–6 self-contained classrooms, physical education, and  reading specialist. As a white, female, anti-racist teacher, I continue to do much work toward an equity and growth mindset, most recently with Alder Graduate School of Education. I strive to enhance all students’ learning experiences through student-centered, culturally relevant and sustaining, multimodal lessons.
