Tara Jeffs

I am currently an assistive technology specialist for Loudoun County Public Schools, Ashburn, Virginia. My career in education spans over 40 years where it started with teaching Math and Science to students with Learning Disabilities at the high school level. My PhD. in Assistive Technology from George Mason University has enabled me to live my passion! I find it fascinating and fun implementing assistive and emerging technologies in general and special education classrooms, and facilitating Universal Design for Learning. I am passionate about teaching undergraduate and graduate students how to use and infuse assistive and emerging technologies in their daily lives and classrooms.
