Sue Ducau

Sue Ducau is an elementary educator based in Ontario, Canada. In her over 25 years of teaching, she has held a variety of positions, including classroom teacher, special education resource teacher, special education consultant, and well-being facilitator. Currently, she is entering her second year as a teacher librarian. She firmly believes that mental health and well-being need to be promoted and taught in the classroom and school, that instruction needs to be designed based on the premise that all students can achieve when their mental health and well-being are honoured and supported, and that strong social-emotional skills, paired with literacy abilities, are the foundation for every student to be successful in school and life.
