Stephanie Watson

District Technology Applications Curriculum Coordinator

Stephanie Watson has been an educator for 23 years. She has taught and cotaught in hundreds of classrooms and trained hundreds of teachers how to infuse technology best in their lessons. She earned her BS at the University of Houston in education. She earned her master’s in instructional technology, with a specialization in online staff development, and her EdD in educational leadership with a specialization in curriculum, both at the University of Houston–Clear Lake (UHCL). Her research focuses on what teachers really need from educational technology leaders. By day, Stephanie is a district technology applications curriculum coordinator, focused on digital media electives and clubs and incorporating video creation into all classrooms. By night, she is an education department adjunct professor for UHCL. In her spare time, she loves to read educational suggestions and theory from tweets to dissertations. She believes in six impossible things before breakfast.
