Serena Sachar, a preservice K–4 teacher and part-time substitute in Pennsylvania public schools, is passionate about the inclusion of culturally diverse students. She is currently working toward her English language learner certification and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) endorsement, and her future plans include teaching in an inner city school and entering the Peace Corps.
