Sandy Sheppard

Sandy is an international educator from New Zealand who has spent the last 30+ years in educational leadership across four countries. Her current position is director of advancement, but prior to that, she was an elementary principal and a school director. Writing is something Sandy has become interested in over the past two years as a way of sharing her experiences with others. She teaches several university-level courses, including Reflective Teaching, Teaching Students with Exceptionalities, Site-Based Leadership, and Supervision and Evaluation, for SUNY’s master’s program for international educators. She recently published her first book on Amazon, focusing on teacher professional growth practices, a subject she is very passionate about.
