Founder and Artistic Director, S'Cool Sounds
Nina Stern has carved an extraordinarily diverse career for herself as a world-class recorder player and educator. On the faculty of Juilliard’s historical performance department, Ms. Stern is the founder and artistic director of S’Cool Sounds, an award-winning music education nonprofit serving public schools and under-resourced communities in the United States and abroad. In addition to enjoying an active performing career, she continues to share her innovative teaching methods with students and teachers nationwide and around the globe.
