Nathan Warner

Director of Professional Development

Nathan Warner is the Director of Professional Development at Lucas Education Research, where he oversees project-based instruction, teacher professional development, and instructional coaching initiatives and research. Nathan is a former middle and high school social studies teacher and instructional coach/leader in New York City. In 2006, he was a founding member of an Expeditionary Learning (EL) secondary school where he served in a number of school leadership roles until recently. Nathan received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, where his research focused on teacher development and collaboration, school leadership, and school culture and community.
