Melissa Morrison

I’m an educator with 18 years’ experience in teaching and instructional coaching. I’m passionate about and have expertise in providing students with the most effective literacy instruction possible. I’ve worked with schools and teachers to improve literacy programs, and I specialize in the area of writing instruction. Too often, explicit writing instruction is pushed aside in education, and I believe it’s my calling to help schools make it front and center, providing teachers with the knowledge and support necessary to grow student writers.
