Marcia DeSalvo

Director of Teaching and Learning

Before becoming the director of teaching and learning at Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School, Marcia DeSalvo taught high school social studies for 10 years and served as the school’s dean of students for two years. Always a learner, she holds a PK–12 administrative certification and curriculum supervisory certification, an MEd in secondary education from LaSalle University, and an MS in educational leadership and administration from St. Joseph’s University. Her new role allows her to support both students and learners in a variety of ways, and she remains determined to provide the best teaching and learning experience for her school community.
