Marcia Baur Moon

Marcia Baur Moon is a national literacy specialist and consultant who has worked with thousands of teachers, parents, and children. She co-founded and co-directed the Children’s Literacy Initiative, a national early literacy training organization, and co-created “Mrs. Bush’s Story Time,” a four-year collaboration with First Lady Barbara Bush that aired nationwide on ABC Radio. She has directed citywide and statewide literacy initiatives, co-produced book expos featuring renowned authors, and presented at early childhood training conferences nationally.
