Kristin Faiella

Preschool Teacher

Kristin Faiella grew up in East Boston, Massachusetts. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 28 years, and they have four children together. She attended Wheelock College (now Boston University) and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree with a focus in education and the humanities. She obtained her master’s degree in education with a focus in reading at Salem State University. Mrs. Faiella also completed a certification course at the University of Massachusetts-Boston in teaching English language learners history. She has been teaching in the Chelsea Public Schools for the past 27 years.

Her passion and love for her students are evident as you walk through the classroom door. Her philosophy is simple— spread, love, joy, and kindness throughout the day, and the rest will fall in place. Mrs. Faiella is a firm believer in taking care of the social and emotional needs of students first. Once the student feels more comfortable, the threshold of learning is unfastened, and they are free to open their hearts and minds
