Kristin Edwards

Coordinator/Principal

Kristin Edwards, EdD, is currently serving as the coordinator/principal for Burke Virtual Academy, a full-time, K–12 virtual program in Morganton, North Carolina. She holds an elementary education degree from Lees-McRae College, a masters in instructional technology and media from Appalachian State University, and a doctorate in educational leadership from Gardner-Webb University. Prior to her current role, she served as an elementary and middle school teacher, instructional technology facilitator, and building level administrator.
