Kristen McInerney

Kristen McInerney is a research education analyst at RTI International and a former high school assistant principal and middle school Spanish teacher. In her work, she partners with schools and districts to translate research into practical strategies that support student success. Her areas of focus include student belonging, multilingual learners, family and community engagement, and teacher professional learning and coaching. Her recent research examines how schools can design systems that help newcomer students feel seen, supported, and valued.
