Kierstan Barbee

Dr. Kierstan Barbee is an educator, author, and consultant with nearly two decades of experience across pre-K–12 systems. She holds an executive doctor of education in professional leadership–literacy from the University of Houston. Her work centers on translating research into practical, scalable professional development that strengthens teaching and learning. She coaches teachers, principals, and district leaders nationwide, with emphasis on instructional pedagogy, feedback, assessment for learning, PLCs, student agency, and adolescent reading.
