Katie Condon

Music Educator

Katie Condon is the Director of School Partnerships at MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis, MN. She enjoys teaching students of all ages in a variety of settings and incorporates a wide variety of genres and musical styles into her teaching. Much of her current work is focused on general music instruction with an early childhood emphasis in public school settings. Katie received a Fulbright Distinguished Teaching Award to study music education systems in Helsinki, Finland in spring 2014. Katie is also the orchestral narrator for Friends of the Minnesota Orchestra Kinder Konzert Series and writes educational curriculum for Minnesota Public Radio. She has composed a number of musical theater productions. Other performance experience includes accompanying both silent films and ballet productions. Katie has a Bachelor of Arts in piano performance from the University of St. Thomas and a Master of Music from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
