Karen Blaha

Assistant Professor of Education

Dr. Karen Blaha is an assistant professor of education at the University of St. Francis in Illinois. Her research examines topics such as culturally responsive instructional practices that support culturally and linguistically diverse learners, and how educational leaders can use equitable instructional practices to support them. Prior to becoming an assistant professor, Dr. Blaha worked as a director of curriculum, director of English language, and an instructional coach for both general education and bilingual education teachers.
