Joy Kennedy

Joy Lorenzo Kennedy is a developmental psychologist, with specialized knowledge of language and literacy development, as well as how to encourage family engagement. Dr. Kennedy combines expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, including RCTs and program evaluation, with a strong background in IT. This dual background serves her well in her current role as research scientist at Education Development Center’s Center for Children and Technology, where she leads research on children’s use of digital media.
