Joshua Chrosniak

Art Teacher

Joshua Chrosniak is an art teacher in Northeast Ohio. In the span of his career, he has had the privilege of educating students from K to 12. He currently teaches third through fifth graders in mixed-grade adaptive art classes. In addition to traditional art classes, he also enjoys science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM), social-emotional learning, and other types of interdisciplinary work.

Joshua is also a professional artist. His media of choice include painting, drawing, and woodworking. He is always trying to find ways to make connections between the professional art world and the academic world for his students. Joshua looks for events and collaborations that elevate his students’ ideas. He enjoys seeing their work out in the world at art shows, as yearbook cover designs, kindness character mascots, murals, props for school musicals, and much more. He believes it is important to provide a framework or direction for children and then let them discover their own creative interests.
