Joseph Marangell
Social Studies Instructional Leader
Joseph Marangell is the social studies instructional leader for East Haven Public Schools in East Haven, Connecticut, where he has worked since 2001. He oversees the secondary social studies program in the school district and teaches one high school class each day. Joe takes a learner-centered approach to teaching and is always trying to find new ways to promote student engagement. He earned his Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina.
