I am a third grade teacher and podcaster who enjoys the creative and messier sides of learning. My professional life has been dedicated to exploring ways to engage students and give them voice, choice, and ownership over their learning. I have taken my own advice, creating what I call "the real world masters in education." My real world masters program involves a deep exploration of the art of teaching via exploration of new ideas in the classroom, as well as contributions to Twitter, education blogs, and my Cultivating Greatness podcast.
