John D. Duffy
High School English Teacher
John D. Duffy has taught high school English for 20 years in suburban Detroit, where he also teaches film studies and serves as a dual enrollment instructor with Syracuse University’s Project Advance. His writing has appeared in Kappan, and his work centers on storytelling and student voice in the English classroom. He also contributes to school committees focused on curriculum and district AI policy.
