Jasmine Brann

Principal

Jasmine Brann is principal and lead learner of Tyler Elementary in Washington, DC. For over 16 years, she has worked in various roles within pre-K to 12 public education as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and now school leader. Her philosophy of education is grounded in the values of authentic learning and genuine love. Jasmine completed her doctorate in educational leadership from Bowie State University in 2020 and continues to pursue knowledge and strategies in hopes to make an even greater impact in life’s classroom. She believes firmly that every student deserves access to a high-quality education and that it is incumbent upon educators and school communities to equip learners with tools for lifelong success.
