Janet Allen
Instructional Coach
Janet Allen is a National Board Certified Teacher and instructional coach in the Savannah Chatham County Public Schools System. She taught high school English in Chicago Public Schools for 8 years prior to moving to Savannah, GA. In Chicago, Janet founded her school's literary magazine, coached the boys’ swim team, and launched a successful crowd-funded program that provided children's books for teen mothers. She holds a BA in English from Eastern Illinois University and an MA in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
