Hema Khatri

I’m an early childhood educator in Michigan and a T.E.A.C.H. scholarship recipient currently completing my bachelor’s degree in education. My work centers on social and emotional learning, family partnerships, and nature-based, child-led approaches. I also lead community initiatives, including creating take-home literacy kits and school-based dental outreach, to support children’s well-being beyond the classroom. Through teaching and collaboration, I strive to create spaces where young children feel safe, seen, and deeply connected to learning.
