Heather Lavigne

Research Scientist

Heather Lavigne is a research scientist at Education Development Center. She has a special interest in supporting and strengthening children's early learning. Currently, she leads several projects that utilize an iterative research and design process to support the development of computational thinking learning resources for preschool children. Dr. Lavigne received her BA in communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, MEd in technology in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and her MS and PhD in developmental psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
