Erin Walsh is a parent, speaker, and author of It’s Their World: Teens, Screens, and the Science of Adolescence. She is the cofounder of Spark & Stitch Institute, where she helps parents and educators across North America better understand child and adolescent development while cutting through conflicting information about kids and technology. She is committed to bringing an equity lens and asset-based approach to our understanding of, and response to, youth and media. She coauthored the 10th anniversary edition of Why Do They Act That Way?, and her insights have been featured in The Washington Post, Huffington Post, and Psychology Today. Erin spent nine years teaching undergraduate students with the Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs and lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
