Emily Adah Miller

Researcher, Curriculum Developer, and Teacher

Emily Adah Miller is a lead writer for the Diversity and Equity Team on the Next Generation Science Standards, member of the NGSS writing team, and writer of multiple peer-reviewed research articles. She is the author of the best-selling teacher practice book NGSS for All, and upcoming practice book Crosscutting Concepts, both with NSTA Press and Okhee Lee. Emily has taught for two decades as an ESL and bilingual resource science specialist in Wisconsin at Title I schools at the middle school and elementary levels. She has served as co-PI, curriculum developer, and associate researcher on the ML-PBL Project, and an NSF Teacher Professional Development grant with the Wisconsin Center for Educational Research.
