Elizabeth Canavan

Elizabeth Canavan teaches eighth-grade mathematics at CREC Ana Grace Academy of the Arts Middle School in Bloomfield, Connecticut. She holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and secondary mathematics education and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Connecticut. She was a graduate research assistant for the project "Thinking Like Mathematicians: Challenging All Grade 3 Students" at the University of Connecticut. Her research interests include equity and ethnomathematics.
