Elizabeth Aguila

Career and Technical Education Teacher

Elizabeth Aguila is a career and technical education teacher in Miami. She has been teaching for 18 years and holds certifications in English, reading, preschool education, and exceptional student education. Elizabeth is currently working on her doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction. Her research seeks to find the secret behind motivating high school students to enter the field of education. Elizabeth is currently the lead teacher for the Academy of Education, teaching high school students about the field of education. She is also the director of the Garden Sprouts Preschool, an on-campus preschool located at the high school where she teaches.

Elizabeth is passionate about teaching and learning. She believes all teachers are superhuman and that teaching is the most important career on the planet.
