Dr. Karin Nolan

Music professor at the University of Arizona and former K-12 music teacher

I am a dedicated and passionate music educator. Everything I have done in my career has stemmed from a deep desire to see my students succeed in music and in their future careers. Currently, I am the Director of Field Experiences for the College of Fine Arts at The University of Arizona and professor of Careers in Music coursework and the Outreach Honor Band. I especially enjoy connections I can help establish between our community and University students.

Prior to joining the faculty at The University of Arizona, I taught K-12 music in the Tucson Unified School District for nearly a decade, teaching elementary arts integration, general music, orchestra, and band; middle school orchestra and band; and high school marching band, concert band, orchestra, choir, and jazz studies.
