Diane C. Spencer

Retired Educator

Diane C. Spencer dedicated 33 years to the Hawai‘i Department of Education, serving as a teacher, coach, and administrator across both elementary and secondary schools. She ended her work for the department as a lauded high school vice principal and as an elementary school principal, completing the circle. Throughout her career, she was often recognized for her ability to inspire, lead with compassion, and create systems that brought out the best in people. Now retired from the DOE, Diane continues her mission as a consultant and trainer, guiding schools and organizations in building strong leaders and positive, collaborative cultures.

Outside of her professional work, Diane embraces the joy of everyday life—whether she’s discovering new corners of the world or keeping things lighthearted by air-folding clothes at Target part time.
