Math and Computer Science Teacher
Denise Long, Ph.D., teaches math and computer science at a high school on Chicago’s South Side. She is a former Vice President of the Chicago chapter of the Computer Science Teachers Association and has previously served as a district-level researcher and technology integration specialist. Dr. Long is dedicated to building student agency through adaptive instruction, responsive pedagogy, and real-time feedback. Her work explores how machine learning and educational technology can close opportunity gaps and make instruction more equitable, personalized, and effective.
