Deame Hua
High School Biology Teacher
Deame Hua teaches AP Biology at Stuyvesant High School in New York City. Since 2014, she has also led courses ranging from Honors Biology to Anthropology and Medical Ethics. She is currently a Math for America Master Teacher Fellow and Fund for Teachers Fellow. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, studied at Weill Cornell Medical College for a few years, and received a Master’s in Secondary Science Education from the College of Staten Island.
