Director and Assistant Professor of the Educational Technology Program at The University of Arizona

I am the Director and Assistant Professor of the Educational Technology Program at The University of Arizona and have been active in digital learning for over 40 years. I am currently the Co-Coordinator of the International Society for Technology in Education’s (ISTE) Special Professional Association for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, Founder and Co-Chair of the ISTE Learning Space Network, and have been a Member of the ISTE Board’s Advocacy and Public Policy Committee, and Co-Chair for BYOD Sessions at ISTE 2016. I am also the co-founder of EDUCAUSE’s Constituency Group on Learning Space Design. I am a Past-President of the Arizona Technology in Education Association (AzTEA), served for five years as AzTEA’s Affiliate representative to ISTE and currently serves as the Chair of the Policy and Advocacy Advisor committee.

I am a past board member of the Arizona Telecommunications and Informational Council, the Greater Arizona eLearning Association, the Arizona Educational Media Association (Chair), and Arizona Special Olympics (Secretary). I have written and presented at state, national, and international conferences on his primary interest in the design of innovative physical and virtual learning environments.
