Christine Sermons
Retired Secondary Teacher and Department Chair
Christine Sermons is a recently retired award-winning secondary teacher from Florida with 30-plus years teaching a variety of social sciences. She has taught American Government, United States History and World History to a diverse student body in middle school, high school, and community college. She has also acted as a teacher mentor for National History Day teachers, and conducted professional development workshops for fellow educators in academic vocabulary, document-based writing, teaching teens research, engagement, and classroom management.
