After failing to graduate from high school, Chris Bach had an epiphany and enrolled at Portland Community College, where he learned how to be a student for the first time. He earned his bachelor’s in English from Portland State University, followed by a master’s in teaching and an administrative certification at the University of Washington. He has taught middle and high school English, ELD, tech, and credit recovery, and held various coaching roles.
