Catherine Gibbons

Catherine Gibbons is a reading specialist and adjunct professor with over two decades of experience in education. She currently serves students in grades 7–12 at Gateway Regional High School in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey. For the past 18 years, she has also taught graduate literacy courses, drawing upon her experience in both reading and special education. In addition to her school year roles, she directed a summer literacy program for a decade, fostering a love of reading in students beyond the classroom. Her current research focuses on working with AI to empower literacy professionals. Outside of her professional life, she is a proud mother of three and an avid runner.
