Carissa Domrase

High School CTE Teacher and Department Chair

After almost a decade in education, including elementary, middle, and high school, Carissa Domrase is currently the business and computer science department chair at a large high school. She has a special interest in increasing diversity in higher level courses. Diagnosed with ADHD at age 27, Carissa is familiar with feeling out of place as a student in the K–12 system and works to improve the system for current neurodivergent students. She runs a school-based coffee shop with her management students and focuses on incorporating real-world experiences in other courses she teaches.
